The Philippine National Team Juniors participated in the esteemed 28th Baker’s Cottage Sea Youth Table Tennis Championships 2024 held on 12-16 May 2024 at the OCM Indoor Stadium, Jalan Hang Jebat Kuala Lumpur.

 

Sixteen players were selected by the Philippine Table Tennis Federation Inc. to join the tournament, with the following securing bronze medals: Emmanuel Paculbap (U15 Boys’ Singles Event), Jebb Jerwin Datahan, Cayl Brent Chavez, Carl De Los Reyes, Joshua Manlapaz (19 under Boys Team Event), Jebb Jerwin Datahan and Cayl Brent Chavez (19 under Boys Doubles), Khevine Khieth Cruz, Emmanuel Paculba, Zion Cabalu, and Matthan John Jamin (15 under Boys Team Event)

 

In addition to the Philippines, other participating Southeast Asian countries include Thailand, Laos, Indonesia, Singapore, Brunei, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Myanmar.

 

The South East Asian Youth Table Tennis Championships 2024 (SEA Youth 2024) was organized by the Table Tennis Association of Malaysia (TTAM) under the authority granted by the South East Asian Table Tennis Association (SEATTA).

 

The Philippine Embassy, represented by Consul Leandro Luiz Manantan and Attaché Aina Camille Abrencillo, extended its warmest congratulations to the Filipino participants, commending them for their outstanding performance and for their admirable representation of the country. END
