EMBASSY CALLS ON LANGKAWI DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY CEO YBHG. DATO’ HASLINA BINTI ABDUL HAMID

28 December 2024 - The Embassy, led by H.E Ambassador Maria Angela Ponce, paid a courtesy call on YBhg. Dato' Haslina Binti Abdul Hamid, Chief Executive Officer of the Langkawi Development Authority (LADA), on 19 December 2024.

The meeting focused on LADA’s preparations and particular areas of involvement for the upcoming ASEAN meetings to be held in Langkawi. Both sides discussed ways to collaborate to ensure the summit’s success. Ambassador Ponce also reaffirmed the Philippines' support for Malaysia’s ASEAN Chairship in 2025. END
