Penang, 09 April 2025 — The Philippine Embassy conducted a briefing on the Philippine Overseas Voting for the 2025 National Elections on 06 April 2025 at the Island Glades Basketball Court. The briefing, which was conducted by Consul General Roussel Reyes, provided an opportunity for Filipinos in Penang to learn about the overseas voting process, pre-voting enrollment process and requirements, and the importance of casting their votes in the upcoming elections.

The midterm elections will be conducted online, allowing registered overseas voters to cast their ballots for Senators and Party-list Representatives from 13 April to 12 May 2025. Pre-voting enrollment is ongoing until 07 May 2025.

Ambassador Maria Angela A. Ponce encouraged all eligible and registered Filipino voters to participate, underscoring the power of their voices in shaping the future of the Philippines. -END
