AMBASSADOR PONCE ATTENDS MADANI AIDILFITRI CELEBRATION 2025

Melaka, Malaysia – On 05 April 2025, Ambassador Maria Angela Ponce attended the Madani Aidilfitri 2025 celebration at the Melaka International Trade Centre (MITC) in Ayer Keroh.

The event was graced by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, who highlighted the theme “Ihsan Menyentuh Jiwa, Toleransi Menyatu Negara” ("Compassion Touches the Soul,Tolerance Unites the Nation"). The celebration was organized by the state government of Melaka and the National Unity Ministry, and it welcomed the Heads of Diplomatic Missions and leaders from International Organizations in Malaysia.

Ambassador Ponce expressed her appreciation for the warm hospitality extended to all attendees and commended the vibrant cultural performances and traditional festivities that showcased the rich heritage of Malaysia. She reaffirmed the Philippines’ commitment to further strengthening bilateral ties, underscoring the importance of fostering friendship and cooperation between the two nations. END
