KUALA LUMPUR - Her Excellency Ambassador Maria Angela A. Ponce signed the Condolence Book for His Holiness Pope Francis, opened by the Apostolic Nunciature, Vatican Embassy, in Ampang, Kuala Lumpur. She conveyed the sincere condolences of the Philippine Embassy and the Filipino community in Malaysia on the passing of Pope Francis and expressed the Embassy's profound respect and admiration for the Pope’s enduring legacy of peace, compassion, and unwavering dedication to humanity.

The Philippine flag at the Embassy is at half-mast in accordance with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s Proclamation No. 871 declaring a period of national mourning until Pope Francis' funeral on 26 April. END
