EMBASSY JOINS GLOBAL CELEBRATION OF WORLD RED CROSS AND RED CRESCENT DAY

KUALA LUMPUR - The Philippine Embassy, represented by Consul General Roussel R. Reyes and Vice Consul Kirstoff D. Ocampo, joined the Global Celebration Of The World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day at the Malaysian Red Crescent (MRC) National Headquarters, Kuala Lumpur.

The event was graced by the MRC National Chairperson, Her Highness Tunku Puteri Intan Safinaz, and the Secretary General, Dato' Danial Iskandar Abdul Rahman. Officials from various agencies, members of the diplomatic corps, and MRC volunteers also attended the event.

MRC serves as a support organization and an auxiliary to the Malaysian Government in the field of humanitarian work as it provides vital assistance during times of natural disasters, crisis and promoting community, health and welfare services within local communities. – END
