ABOUT US
The Philippine Trade and Investment Center (PTIC-Kuala Lumpur) is the representative office of the Department of Trade and Industry in Malaysia and an attached agency to the Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines in Kuala Lumpur. PTIC-Kuala Lumpur’s main mandate is the mutual promotion of trade and investment between the Philippines and Malaysia. Areas of coverage: Peninsular Malaysia including Labuan, Sabah, and Sarawak.
TRADE PROMOTION
PTIC-Kuala Lumpur contributes to the promotion of the Philippine exports to Malaysia. Through various trade shows, activities, business-to-business matching, PTIC-Kuala Lumpur assists Philippine companies in mainstreaming their products and identifying for suitable partners in Malaysia.
INVESTMENT PROMOTION
PTIC-Kuala Lumpur is involved in the mutual promotion of investment from Malaysia to the Philippines, and likewise, from the Philippines to Malaysia. As a first touchpoint for businesses in Malaysia, PTIC-Kuala Lumpur ensures ease of doing business in the Philippines for those looking to invest in the country.
SERVICE TO OVERSEAS FILIPINO INVESTORS
PTIC-Kuala Lumpur provides assistance to Overseas Filipinos in Malaysia and encourages fellow kababayans to do business in the Philippines. PTIC-Kuala Lumpur organizes activities in partnership with different organizations and conducts online learning sessions through its official Facebook page. PTIC-Kuala Lumpur’s flagship project is the Trabaho, Negosyo, Kabuhayan seminar.
