WHAT TO BRING WHEN TRAVELLING TO THE PHILIPPINES

Please bring all the necessary documentary proof in connection with your purpose of entry into the Philippines, which may be required by the airport and immigration officials to be presented at the airline and immigration counter.

EFFECTIVE 30 MAY 2022 (per IATF Resolution No. 168):

For Visa-free entry:

List of Nationals for Visa-free entry to the Philippines may be accessed through this link: click here

- Passport valid at least 6 months

- Other documentary proof on the purpose of entry to the Philippines (i.e, itinerary of travel, hotel bookings, invitation letter, etc.)

- Two-way/return air ticket/flight itinerary

- eTravel QR Code

For Tourist/Pleasure, Business, Filmmaker, Journalist, Athletes and Sailors/Yachtsmen with 9(a) visa:

- Passport valid at least 6 months

- Valid 9(a) visa

- Other documentary proof on the purpose of entry to the Philippines (i.e, endorsement letter from company/sponsor, invitation letter from the Philippine company/sponsor, contract, etc.)

- Two-way/return air ticket/flight itinerary

For Filipinos:

- Valid Philippine Passport/Travel Document

- One-way air ticket/flight itinerary

- Pre-booked quarantine hotel (if not fully compliant as fully vaccinated)

- eTravel QR Code

 

For Balikbayan Program (visa-free entry):

Foreign spouse and children of Filipino national (from non-visa required countries who are travelling with Filipino spouse):

Passport valid at least 6 months

One-way air ticket/flight itinerary

- Authenticated (in English) or PSA-issued marriage certificate (for dependent spouse)

- Authenticated (in English) or PSA-issued birth certificate (for dependent children)

Filipino Dual Citizens:

- Valid Philippine passport or Identification Certificate (IC) or Certificate of Retention/Re-acquisition of Philippine Citizenship

One-way air ticket/flight itinerary

Former Filipinos and their dependents from non-visa required countries who are travelling together:

- Previous Philippine passport or PSA-issued birth certificate (for former Filipino)

Passport valid at least 6 months

One-way air ticket/flight itinerary

- Certificate of Naturalization in English (for former Filipino)

- Authenticated marriage certificate in English (for dependent spouse)

- Authenticated birth certificate in English (for dependent children)

For Foreign spouse/children/parents of Filipino national with 9(a) visa and DFA approval/clearance:

- Passport valid at least 6 months

Valid 9(a) visa

- Authenticated (in English) or PSA-issued marriage certificate (for dependent spouse)

- Authenticated (in English) or PSA-issued birth certificate (for dependent children)

- Other documentary proof on the purpose of entry to the Philippines (i.e., invitation letter from the Filipino spouse, Barangay Certificate of Residency, copies of Philippine passports of Filipino spouse and children, etc.)

- Two-way/return air ticket/flight itinerary

- Pre-booked quarantine hotel (only for minor dependent child (12-17 years old) if not fully compliant as fully vaccinated)

For Long Term Visas: Section 13, PRV, TRV, 9(d), 9(f), 9(g), 47(a)(2), SRRV:

Passport valid at least 6 months

One-way air ticket/flight itinerary

- Valid and existing visa

- Some of the following cards and certificates:

Alien Employment Permit card (AEP card)

Alien Certificate of Registration Identity Card (ACR I-card)

Emigration Clearance Certificate (ECC)

Re-entry Permit (RP) for Immigrants

Special Return Certificate (SRC) for Non-immigrants

Special Resident Retiree’s Visa card (SRRV card)
