PHL Embassy Defense Assistant Promoted To Master Sergeant

17 April 2013 – A rare pinning ceremony took place at the Philippine Embassy in Kuala Lumpur when its Defense and Armed Forces Assistant, Philippine Air Force (PAF) Technical Sergeant Fernando C. Dellomos Jr., was promoted to Master Sergeant (MSgt).

In ceremonies held on April 15, right after the Embassy’s flag ceremony, MSgt Dellomos received his patch signifying his new rank from Philippine Ambassador to Malaysia J. Eduardo Malaya.

Defense and Armed Forces Attache Colonel Frederick Evans Ramos and other Embassy officers and staff were present to witness the event.

Before his present position, MSgt Dellomos has served in various capacities in the PAF, and the Armed Forces of the Philippines. He earlier was a member of the United Nations Guard Contingent in Iraq for 11 months.

MSgt Dellomos is skilled in martial arts, and has expertise in karate, arnis, aikido, jet kune do, muay thai and kobudo (Japanese art of weaponry). END
