Ambassador J. Eduardo Malaya welcomed the newest addition to the Philippine Embassy staff, incoming Defense Attaché Colonel Delfin G Bacon (left) when the latter paid a courtesy call on the Head of Post on August 1. 

In this photo, they are joined by outgoing Defense Attaché Colonel Frederick Evans L Ramos (right).

Colonel Bacon has served in various capacities in the Philippine Air Force and the Armed Forces of the Philippines prior to his assignment at the Embassy.

Colonel Bacon has a Master’s degree in National Security Administration from the National Defense College of the Philippines, a Bachelors of Science degree from the Philippine Military Academy and a Bachelor of Arts degree major in English, minor in Philosophy, from the Ateneo de Davao University.
