The Philippine Embassy in Kuala Lumpur conveys its profound appreciation to the government and people of Malaysia for their expression of sympathies to the victims of Typhoon Tembin, as manifested in the 25 December 2017 press statement of YB Dato’ Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein, Minister of Defense of Malaysia, that the Malaysian Ministry of Defense through the Malaysian Armed Forces (MAF) would be on immediate standby to provide humanitarian assistance in the form of delivery of foodstuff to areas affected by Typhoon Tembin in southern Philippines.
