27 December 2017 – In the spirit of Christmas, Philippine Ambassador to Malaysia Charles Jose hosted a lunch for Kuala Lumpur-based ambassadors accredited to Manila on December 22 at the JW Marriot Hotel.  

“As you may know, Christmas is a very important season for us Filipinos.  Celebrating Christmas has become a part of our culture and tradition. We therefore thought that it would be a good idea if we could get together to celebrate this festive season,” Ambassador Jose said in his remarks.

Present during the event were the Heads of Missions of Cuba, Namibia, Zambia, Ukraine, Yemen, Swaziland, Syria, Ghana, Kenya, Sudan, Senegal, Poland and Gambia.  

During the event, those present were also given a briefing on the current political and economic situation in the Philippines, giving emphasis on plans, programs and projects undertaken by the Duterte administration during the year and future directions.  END
