PH Embassy Conducts Its Third Regular Consular Mission for 2023 in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah

Some of the Filipinos who availed of consular services during the Regular Consular Mission in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, on 18-22 June 2023.

23 June 2023 - The Philippine Embassy in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, successfully conducted its third Regular Consular Mission for the year from 18 to 22 June 2023 in Kadasanduzun Cultural Village, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.

The Philippine Embassy’s nine-member team rendered 1,237 consular services, including passport processing, birth registration, notarization of documents, and issuance of travel documents.

The regular consular mission in Kota Kinabalu remained peaceful for five days because majority of the Filipino nationals in Sabah adhered to the Embassy’s appointment system.

The Embassy highly appreciates the cooperation of the Filipino community in Sabah and urges the latter to continue observing the appointment system for the benefit of the general public.

The schedules for the Embassy’s succeeding regular consular missions, including the re-opening of its appointment system for the said missions, will be announced by the Embassy in due course.
