MOBILE VOTING REGISTRATION KICKS OFF AT MWO-KL
Kuala Lumpur, 06 February 2024 – The Philippine Embassy in Kuala Lumpur, in partnership with the Migrant Workers Office Kuala Lumpur, kicked off mobile voter registration for overseas Filipinos on 28 January and 04 February 2024. Over two Sundays at MWO-KL compound in Taman Maluri, a total of one hundred eleven (111) Overseas Filipino Workers registered to vote in the 2025 Philippine elections.
Additional mobile registration will be held at MWO-KL on 18 and 25 February 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. More dates will also open from March onward.
Filipinos may also walk in to register at the Embassy, Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., excluding weekends and holidays.
Registration is free and no appointment is necessary.
The deadline to register is 30 September 2024.
The Embassy encourages all eligible Filipinos in Malaysia and Sabah to register so they can exercise their right to vote in 2025 and help shape the Philippines' future. END.
