17 February 2024 — Ambassador-Designate H.E. Maria Angela A. Ponce joined the Malaysia-China Chamber of Commerce (MCCC) in celebrating Chinese New Year and the 50th Anniversary of China-Malaysia Diplomatic Relations. She extended the Embassy’s warm wishes to MCCC President Mr. Loo Kok Seong and to the Ambassador of China, H.E. Ouyang Yujing. Minister of Transport Anthony Loke graced the event as Guest of Honor. The Embassy’s Commercial Counsellor, Norjamin Delos Reyes, and Third Secretary and Vice Consul Kara Denise Frayco also attended the celebration.
