AMBASSADORS OF GHANA, ALGERIA, MAURITIUS, SUDAN AND ZAMBIA PRESENT CREDENTIALS TO PRESIDENT FERDINAND R. MARCOS, JR.

KUALA LUMPUR, 30 May 2024 –The Ambassadors to the Philippines of Ghana, Algeria, Mauritius, Sudan and Zambia, who are based in Kuala Lumpur, officially presented their credentials to President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. on 14 May and 22 May 2024, at the Malacañang Palace.
 
The distinguished Ambassadors who presented their credentials are: 1) Ambassador Florence Buerki Akonor from the Republic of Ghana; 2) Ambassador Abdelhafid Bounour from the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, 3) Ambassador Jagdishwar Goburdhun, G.O.S.K., from the Republic of Mauritius, 4) Ambassador Hassan Abdelsalam Omer from the Republic of Sudan, and 5) Ambassador Morecome Mumba from the Republic of Zambia.
 
President Marcos warmly welcomed the Ambassadors, expressing optimism for deepening of relations and enhanced collaboration and reaffirming the Philippines' commitment to fostering robust international partnerships. END
