Kuala Lumpur, 28 June 2024 - Ms. Bea Marie Lopez, Training Officer of the Foreign Service Institute (FSI), successfully completed the Malaysian Technical Cooperation Programme (MTCP): Diplomatic Training Course for International Participants.
The 12-day course, held from May 12 to 23, 2024, trained 15 diplomatic officers, including those from Georgia, Laos, Maldives, and two from Malaysia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The program covered Malaysia's diplomatic practices, international negotiation, public diplomacy, media relations, protocol, and management strategies. Participants also went on study visits around Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya, including stops at Wisma Putra, the Craft Complex, and the Malaysia Tourism Centre (MaTiC). The course was organized by the Institute of Diplomacy and Foreign Relations (IDFR), the training arm of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Malaysia.
The Philippine Embassy, represented by Vice Consul Vanessa R. Orbigo and Ms. Aina Camille R. Abrencillo, extended its congratulations to all course participants, commending them for their dedication and commitment to enhancing their knowledge and skills as diplomatic practitioners. END.
