Kuala Lumpur, 12 July 2024 – Minister and Consul General Roussel R. Reyes received Undersecretary Henry L. Yap and Director Maria O. Amoroso of the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) at the Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines on 5 July 2024.

 

Undersecretary Yap led the Philippine delegation at the ASEAN-China Ministerial Roundtable on Construction and Housing (ACMROCH) 2024, held from 3 to 5 July at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC).

 

The ASEAN-China Ministerial Roundtable on Construction and Housing (ACMROCH) 2024 serves as a platform to enhance collaboration between ASEAN and China in terms of construction, housing, and urban development. The roundtable aims to foster dialogue, share best practices, and promote sustainable urbanization goals among participating countries.

 

In conjunction with ACMROCH 2024, Philippine participant Mr. Jim Caumeron served as a speaker at the Kuala Lumpur Architecture Festival 2024 (KLAF 2024) and ARCHIDEX 2024 held from 3 to 6 July 2024 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. Mr. Caumeron, who is known for his innovative minimalist architecture, spoke about his projects within the theme of space, time, and meaning. END
