28 July 2024 – The Gilas Pilipinas Youth concluded the FIBA U18 Asia Cup SEABA Qualifiers with an unblemished record of 3-0 after overpowering Indonesia with a decisive 87-64 victory on 21 July 2024 at the MABA Stadium in Kuala Lumpur.

The Philippine national team breezed through the tournament after defeating Malaysia (97-71) and Thailand (87-53), earning a coveted spot in the FIBA U18 Asia Cup 2024 to be held in Amman, Jordan, from 2 to 9 September 2024.

The Embassy, led by Ambassador Maria Angela Ponce, proudly supported the team by attending their first game against Malaysia. END
