Kuala Lumpur, 30 July 2024 – Philippine Trade and Investment Center - Kuala Lumpur (PTIC) Commercial Counsellor Norjamin G. Delos Reyes participated as a speaker at the 8th Selangor ASEAN Business Conference (SABC) 2024 held on 26 July 2024 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

 

In her pitch, Commercial Counsellor Delos Reyes gave an overview of investment opportunities in the Philippines, as the country remains one of the best-performing economies in Asia. She underscored the Philippines’ enhanced economic performance in exports and imports, strong macroeconomic fundamentals, and major economic reforms to better assist foreign investors in the country.

 

Avaland Berhad, a subsidiary of Ayala Land, participated as exhibitor at SABC 2024 and showcased their residential projects, such as the Aetas Seputeh, the Amika Residences, and the Alora Residences.

 

SABC 2024 provided a platform for discussions on market access, regional economic integration, and entrepreneurship, amidst the forecast that Southeast Asia would become the world’s 4th largest economy by 2030.
