MINISTRY OF TRADE AND INDUSTRY HOLDS BRIEFING ON ECONOMIC PILLAR PRIORITIES OF MALAYSIA’S ASEAN CHAIRSHIP

KUALA LUMPUR - On 04 February 2025, Ambassador Maria Angela Ponce attended a briefing for the diplomatic corps by the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI) on the economic pillar priorities and schedule of events of Malaysia’s ASEAN Chairship. The briefing was led by YB Senator Tengku Datuk Seri Utama Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz, Minister of Trade and Investment. He was joined by YB Liew Chin Tong, MITI Deputy Minister, YBhg. Dato’ Hairil Yahri Yaacob, Secretary General, and YBrs. Puan Mastura Ahmad Mustafa, MITI Deputy Secretary General for Trade.

Ambassador Ponce was accompanied by Commercial Attaché Norjamin G. Delos Reyes and Economic Officer Clarissa Marie G. Villamor. END
