KUALA LUMPUR - On 6 February 2025, H.E. Ambassador Maria Angela A. Ponce received a courtesy call from H.E. Chantal Moser, Ambassador of Switzerland to Malaysia, at the Philippine Embassy.

Both sides discussed opportunities for collaboration and areas of mutual interest, including Switzerland’s Southeast Asia Strategy 2023-2026. Ambassador Ponce expressed the Philippines’ appreciation for Switzerland’s support on peace initiatives and developmental cooperation in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).
