EMBASSY FEATURES HALAL ACCREDITATION CERTIFICATE FOR THE KITCHEN FACILITIES PARADISE GARDEN RESORT HOTEL AND CONVENTION CENTER

27 March 2025 - The Embassy proudly features the Certification of Halal Facilities Accreditation for the kitchen facilities of the Paradise Garden Resort Hotel and Convention

Center located at Manggayad, Manoc-Manoc, Boracay Island, Malay Aklan, Philippines. The accreditation is based on the IDCP-Halal Standards implemented by the Islamic Da'wah Council of the Philippines, Inc. (IDCP-Halal). The certification is part of the broader efforts of the Philippines to promote world-class tourism destinations that are sustainable, inclusive, and for everyone to enjoy.

On 21 February 2025, Mayor Frolibar Bautista of Malay, Aklan and 34 tour and hotel providers called on Ambassador Maria Angela Ponce at the Embassy where they discussed their successful participation on the Global Travel Exchange and Roadshow held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Their active participation in the event represents the strong drive of tourism industry players in the Philippines to expand offerings for Halal Tourism. END
