PH EMBASSY WELCOMES NEW LABOR ATTACHÉ JOCELYN BUIZON ORTEGA

Kuala Lumpur | 28 March 2025 - The Embassy is pleased to welcome the arrival of the new Labor Attaché (Labatt), Ms. Jocelyn B. Ortega. She officially assumed her role as the Head of the Migrant Workers Office in Kuala Lumpur (MWO-KL) on 25 March 2025. Labatt Ortega succeeds former Labor Attaché Teresa Lourdes D. Pimentel, whose tour of duty in Kuala Lumpur concluded on 31 December 2024.

Prior to her assignment in Kuala Lumpur, Labatt Ortega served as a Welfare Officer at the Philippine Embassy in Greece and Cyprus from 2006-2008 and at the Philippine Consulate General in Milan from 2016-2019. END
