EMBASSY SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETES FINAL LOCKDOWN AND SEALING OF ONLINE VOTING AND COUNTING SYSTEM FOR THE 2025 NATIONAL ELECTION

KUALA LUMPUR – The Embassy successfully completed the Final Lockdown and Sealing (FLS) of the online voting and counting system for the 2025 National Elections Overseas on 10 April 2025 at 4:00 pm. Led by Vice Consul Kara Denise Frayco as Chair of the Special Board of Election Inspectors (SBEI), this vital procedure ensures that the voting and counting system has not been initialized and contains no votes. This measure also guarantees voting will only commence on 13 April 2025, at 8:00 am.

The Embassy urges all registered Filipino voters in Malaysia to pre-enroll for online voting by visiting this link: https://ov.comelec.gov.ph/enroll . Pre-Enrollment for voting will be open until Wednesday, 07 May 2025.

The 30-day Overseas Voting Period will start on Sunday, 13 April 2025 until Monday, 12 May 2025. END
