NATIONAL SECURITY COUNCIL DEPUTY DIRECTOR GENERAL MARLO M. GULOY LEADS PHILIPPINE DELEGATION TO ASEAN NATIONAL SECURITY ADVISORS’ MEETING (ANSAM)

Terengganu, 28 April 2025 – National Security Council (NSC) Deputy Director General Marlo M. Guloy led the Philippine Delegation to the ASEAN National Security Advisors’ Meeting (ANSAM) that was held from 21 to 23 April 2025 at the Perhentian Marriot Island Resort and Spa, Perhentian Island, Terengganu.

Deputy Director General Guloy was accompanied by NSC OIC Director Clarissa E. Rutor-Garcio and National Security Specialist Ma. Cyrrel P. Valentin. Ambassador Maria Angela A. Ponce joined the delegation along with Third Secretary and Vice Consul Kara Denise C. Frayco and Attaché Clarissa Marie G. Villamor.

The ANSAM, chaired by Malaysian NSC Director General Raja Dato’ Nushirwan bin Zainal Abidin, provided ASEAN member states a platform to discuss regional security issues. END
