EMBASSY, FILIPINO COMMUNITY MEMBERS JOIN TRX CYCLETHON 2025

KUALA LUMPUR 20 May 2025 - Vice Consul Kirstoff Gail Ocampo, along with members of the Filipino community, participated in the inaugural TRX Cyclethon held at Raintree Plaza TRX on 18 May 2025. The event was organized by TRX City Sdn Bhd in collaboration with the Kuala Lumpur City Cycling Club (KLCCC) and Kuala Lumpur City Hall (Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur DBKL).

Consul General Roussel Reyes joined TRX CEO Dato' Azmar Talib, TRX CFO Mr. Tajuddin Shahruddin and the President of KLCCC, Datuk Zulkifly Ibrahim, at the opening ceremony.

The Filipino participants - Messrs. Ian Gerapusco, Antonino Asilo, Prospero Pinongcos, and Ronald Bautista - completed the 20-kilometer route through key city landmarks such as Bukit Bintang, KLCC, and Bank Negara.

The TRX Cyclethon gathered nearly 500 participants, both Malaysians and expatriates. The event aimed to promote an active lifestyle, strengthen community ties, and support efforts to address environmental sustainability and the importance of mental well-being. END
